By Phoenix the Elder –As I entered my midlife around thirty-eight, philosophy, metaphysics and psychotherapy, Jungian contemplative thought and any Buddhist philosophies had no real place in my life anymore. This is because I had spent time studying them in my younger days, and I was truly beginning to value my emotional body and wanted to really heal it deeply as an Empath.
I focused from that point on, with the hard work of the actual actions, holistic therapies and practices of dream work, consistent meditation in nature, silencing the mental body to slay it into submission. This allowed me to enter a space of leaving words, concepts and ideas that were outside the context of art and spirituality, concentrating my efforts into pure practices, healing modalities and disciplines that supported me as a sensitive and emotional dreaming type of human being.
