Welcome to the last full moon of the year, the Cold Moon and Gemini Full Moon. This will be a fiery moon time with lots of impatience, ideas, and determination moving throughout this lunar season. Quick action,  and rapid thoughts comes with Gemini which is ruled by Mercury and associated with Eshu and Ibeji. These cosmic energies during this moon time indicate what we speak on, what we ask to receive or release can happen in two-fold. The sun is in the sign of Sagittarius, a fire sign ruled by Jupiter and associated with both Obatala and Ososi. Thus the warriors are showing up within this moon time in full force along with some element of grace and divine protection. Those who pave the way for change, who make rules, laws, and enforce the laws are very important players during this moon time. The fallacies and shadiness of past untruths will have a brilliant light shown upon its treacherousness and acts of treason will also be exposed during this time.

However, this moon time also indicates many prayers being answered, success in business, goals, relationships, and money ventures. If we’ve put in the work or begin to put in the work many blessings begin to manifest. Keeping promises, and avoiding the breaking of laws and oaths is important during the next 27 days, December 12, 2019- January 8, 2020.
Victory, self-defense, preparing for hard work, and unexpected demands. In other words, it ain’t over ’til it’s over. These are some themes of this moon time. Pay close attention to house 4 in your personal chart due to its stellium in Capricorn the archetype of Obaluaiye. This means there are 4 or more planets in house 4 and in the sign of Capricorn. What is wishy-washy and unstructured in your life at this time? How stable and healthy are your relationships, your mind and your body?  Both house 4 and the Capricorn sign is heavily activated during this moon time. How is your personal home, family life, family history affecting your house 3 and house 9 which are ruled by Gemini and Sagittarius? Is there a loving relationship or a war between close friends, siblings and co-workers? How are you communicating, what are you giving attention to or researching?
This moon time is also about re-evaluating what you should be placing your energies towards. Are we focusing on a positive outcome to a challenging situation? Are we putting in the work? Neptune sextile Pluto allows us to get ready to deal with deep levels of transformations and address our reservations or fears if we have them. This moon time will take us on a personal and collective journey of renewal in some form or fashion. If we do the work, we can become spiritually vibrant and young at heart again.

MOON TIME CEREMONY
Gemini Full Moon Ceremony: To create a space of worthiness. The question to ask ourselves before starting our ceremony is “What Am I Worth Receiving”?
Gemini will over think and analyze a situation but sometimes has trouble getting to the heart of the matter. This moon time is about getting to the heart of the matter, not only through hard work but with intuitive spiritual insight. 
Items Needed:
Wash 9 coins either quarters or dimes.
Cleanse 1 white candle short or tall encased in glass.
1 small glass of water
a white cloth
 
Write down 9 reasons why you are worthy to receive blessings and or worthy to be released from something that will open you up for blessings.
 
Instructions:
After taking a bath or shower and dressing in white. Perform the full moon fill em up ceremony.
Go to your sacred space for moon ceremony work, speak into your glass of water a prayer of thanksgiving. Set the glass on the white cloth.
 Each coin represents one of the nine reasons why you are worth to receive a blessing. Take each coin and separately dip it into the glass of water and speak which one of the nine reasons of worthiness, that coin represents.
 When you’re finished you should have a circle of coins surrounding your glass of water. Now place your white candle next to the water glass and invision yourself moving toward satisfaction. When you are ready light the candle and allow the flame to ignite your prayers.
Leave the candle to burn for 1 hour then extinguish it. Allow your ceremony space to sit undisturbed for 3 days then take it down. Give the coins away to someone in need or to a child. Discard the candle and pour out the water.

Welcome to the Beaver Moon time, its full moon in Taurus (Oshun) with Sun in Scorpio (Oya). The Beaver is called the builder within the water~earth animal kingdom. It is a creature that is family conscious and known to focus on building, fortifying and restructuring its home and environment for the protection of its family and to ensure it has sufficient resources. This lunar animal totem definitely corresponds to this moon’s Taurean – Oshun archetype being the provider of home, hearth, and happiness for all who dwell within her domain. Thus this is a solution oriented moon time with attention being directed close to home. Moon in house 5 is activated; many of us will feel a need to express ourselves in an artistic fashion.
Some people will be more carefree while others may notice their romantic side shows more. Whatever it is that our individual consciousness wants to explore at this time collectively, it will be related to House 5 activities in some form. House 5 rules income, children, self-expression, creativity, and indulgence on some level. Sun in Scorpio the archetype of Oya is still manifesting the experience of change and transformation, yet it is a very dedicated and motivated energy which will require our collective consciousness to do just that, remain motivated during this moon time spanning November 12th – December 8th.

This is a good time to also focus on the children, removing chaotic energy that surrounds them and replace it with the introduction of stability and more fun moments, as children are very important during this moon time. So once again we must balance something and in this case we must balance our “openness” to extreme thoughts, energies, and emotions. If we get caught in the loop or revolving door of overt connecting, nothing will get done. Thus more energy will be exerted towards getting plans off the ground when that may not need to be the case.

Another message for this moon time is material success, yes this moon time points towards many forms of success especially material success. Some people will find themselves receiving funds unexpectedly, opportunities opening up, business ventures awakening, and all this concentration of success falls within the 1st 11 days of this moon time. This is more so to happen for those who invest their time and energy wisely. Others will have problems holding onto money, giving into the desire for extravagance and spending. Again, focus and effort are required during this moon time in order to reach a reasonable level of success. Sun in 11th house, generosity, and help from others abounds but also, we are more willing to share, and gift others too. Giving and receiving can be done in balance and with great joy during this moon time.
A lot of what we encounter during this moon time will be based on what we’ve created in our minds.

MOON TIME CEREMONY
Taurus Full Moon Ceremony: To create the reception of treasures such as good experiences, happiness, resources, and wealth.
1 Green glass encased candle any size that can burn for 3 hours.
1 Piece of yellow cloth or yellow construction paper.
1 Medium piece of brown paper (paper bag)
 
Instructions:
Prep your ceremonial items first. Cut a  large square piece of paper bag, large enough to write on. Add symbols for money, love, happiness, joy, a home, and anything else you’d like to represent your treasure onto the brown paper. You’re drawing symbols not writing.
Place a yellow cloth or yellow construction paper down, then place your brown paper onto the yellow cloth or construction paper. Next place your cleansed green candle on top of the brown paper.
November 12th Before the fill em up prayer ~ceremony: Take a bath or shower to remove the energies of the day. Dress in white, cover your head in white. If you’re not performing the full moon fill’ em up ceremony outside, than do it inside facing east. After performing the full moon ceremony with prayer, focus and light your green candle. Sit with it in meditation if you can. Allow the candle to burn for 1 full hour and extinguish it, don’t blow the flame out.
On November 14th light the same candle for 1 full hour, sit with it in meditation if you can, then extinguish it.
On November 17th, light the same candle for 1 full hour, sit with it in meditation if you can, then extinguish it.
Last step on November 17th  After the candle burned for 1 hour, burn the brown paper and place its ashes into the candle wax and allow the ashes to solidify in the candle. Leave the candle sitting in its sacred space until Saturday, the 23rd.  Completion  on November 23rd then discard the candle any way you chose, throw it away.

This 2nd Libra/ Oshun Full Moon brings a dynamic moon time for many of us because it points towards the cosmic doorway leading to great abundance. The keyword is “abundance” we must be wise and alert to what type of abundance we’re creating or open to receive. Not all abundance is good, not all abundance is bad. Because an abundance of growth in any direction negative and positive is available to us. We must be careful not to run from our responsibilities.
During these 27 lunar days some people will have to address their fears. Fears regarding a need to change, the fear of trusting in their own abilities, the fear of making important decisions, the fear of loss and so on. Oshun/ Libra Moon 29° represents our internal collective drive and consciousness, and this specific type of Oshun/Libra moon’s persona longs for some form of freedom to experience. She enjoys holding her own, and she’ll create these experiences either through an act of grace or immoral force either way doesn’t concern her as long as her desire is met.
 Therefore, we too have an inner drive for change and balance and if we’re not careful our subconscious and conscious minds will create those adjustments and revolutions by any means necessary.
During these 27 lunar days some of us will struggle with combating our fear about reaching our individual and collective progression or success. This Oshun/Libra 29° moon can be the doorkeeper for dangerous times, and can herald a time of psychosis, a weak moral compass and problematic disruptive feminine and masculine energies. Both Sun in Aries and Moon in Libra are 29° and both planets are residing in houses which require a lot of personal attention and healing, houses 6 and 12. So we must be prepared for sudden changes, as well as standing guard against emotional and psychological tricks. The positive side of this Oshun/Libra 29° moon time is an increased ability to solve problems.

1.)  Some people during these 27 days will find themselves in need of a good rest and a time out period. If we ignore these messages to rest during this lunar time, we may be forced to do so. Libra looks to rectify and balance all things, therefore some people will be ready to set down roots, either through marriage, a new home, moving to another location, or taking a needed vacation.
2.)  Some people will have an increased sensitivity to their environment, to food and their emotions, i.e. feeling ultra-sensitive. Libra in house 6 brings us face to face with our 5 senses which at this point becomes heighted and can trigger health issues, and sharper psychic abilities. 3.)  Some people will likely experience major transformations which will either be liberating or caustic, fearful, and challenging. This is due to the karmic energy of Pluto’s influence on both the sun and moon which are squaring Pluto and creates a destiny changer for many of us.

Sun (Sango/ Orunmila/ Olofi) square Pluto (Oya) -under this transit a person can become fearless to the point of being ruthless in their determination for authority, power, and control. Psychological issues once ignored can surface and will demand rectifying.

This moon and sun at 29° sits at the threshold of a cosmic door way which means any changes to happen in our lives is unavoidable. Something will have to be released in order for us to move forward. But when we are consciously aware of upcoming or ongoing shifts that are happening. We can choose to some degree what part we’ll play in this transformation.

Chose to burn your candles 1 day or 3 days.
You can use a 7 day candle or any other size candle but allow it to burn 1 or 3 days.
Burning the candle 1 day connects our moon work to the Moon 13° Scorpio, in House 6 for those who need to connect to the transformative energies of this full moon time. And to address fears and concerns up front and personal without fear or running away.

Burning the candle for 3 days connects our moon work to the Moon 10° Sagittarius, in House 7 for those who need to experience the expansive and abundance of opportunities that are available to us.
Light the Palo Santo stick after the candle is lit and allow the stick to go out.
Do this once if the candle is burned 1 time. Repeat burning the same stick for 3 days each time the candle is lit for those doing the 3 day ceremony.
If you don’t have a Palo Santo stick only use Sage. DO NOT USE CEDAR for this ritual.
Pick a time of the day you wish to start your ceremony it can be at 7:12 AM or any time after, no later than 9:12 PM. repeat the ceremony at the same time for the 3 days if you chose the 3 day process.
Discard both the candle and Palo Santo stick the day after your ceremony is completed by placing them in a brown paper bag and twist the ends shut. You can throw the bag in the trash away from the house or in the garbage directly outside of the house.
This moon ceremony is done to increase opportunities, and courage. To open doors of positive possibilities, to increase our ability to intuit divine messages, for protection and to confront fear. All done for our highest good.
