Spring is a time for anniversaries at KDCL Media. KDCL Media celebrates three years of broadcasting on BlogTalkRadio, and Candelo’s Corner with Host Candelo Kimbisa is celebrating its second year as part of our line-up.

As part of our celebrations, Miss Paula will hosting readings on Egun And Then Some… on Sunday, April 14th at 8pm edt. On Monday, April 15th at 8pm edt, Tata Candelo will be double teaming with Miss Paula on Candelo’s Corner.

Spirituality and its place in our lives. How the past affects the future. How do we not repeat the mistakes of the past or are we trapped in a perpetual loop of our own making?

We’ll be re-visiting some topics that have reared their heads once again, and take calls from our listeners.

And Then Some… We strive for Enlightenment, Education and Entertainment on a variety of topics including: the environment, rights and freedoms, events around Mountain Maryland, Deep Creek Lake, and the topics you choose when you call the switchboard.

A Great Start To The Week on KDCL Media

An exciting week ahead on KDCL Media starting with Egun And Then Some… on Sunday 8pm est. Miss Paula, Oro Shango, and Tata Candelo Kimbisa will be passing on messages from Egun, Ancestors and Nfumbe to our listeners that call in and raise their hand.

Monday at 8pm est on Candelo’s Corner, Tata Candelo’s special guest will be ConjureMan Ali, a Tata in the Quimbanda tradition and author of a new book at Hadean Press, Santisima Muerte: How to Call and Work with Holy Death and the launch of his new website on the Quimbanda tradition, The House of Quimbanda.

The rest of the week is full of good stuff, too.

Tuesday 8pm est we’re doing a replay of the pilot for a new show, Oro Expeditions And Then Some… Our premier show will be March 5th at 8pm est, and we’ve already got a great guest from one of the expeditions lined up.

Over The Road is our show on Wednesdays at 8pm est. Oro (Sneaky Snake) and Miss Paula (Blue Witch) ran team over the road for 10 years. Oro still trucks while Miss Paula produces radio shows, and we wanted a show about, by and for the over the road driver and their families. Babies are the only thing not delivered by truck.

KDCL Media teams up with The H20 Network on Thursday and Friday. Thursdays at 8pm est After Dark with Miss Paula and Dia Nunez talk about lunar cycles, planetary energy and its effects, crystals, herbs and much more.

Friday at 10am est Miss Paula and Dia pour a little brew out of the Krones’ Kauldron for a little witchy woman back porch conversation. So pour a big ol’ mug of your favorites morning beverage and join us.

Welcomes Dave Allgood of S.C.A.R.E. team of Pennsylvania, Somerset County Area Research of the Extraordinary is a paranormal research group dedicated to serving those in the Somerset County, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas with “Extraordinary” situations. Founded in 2008, S.C.A.R.E. hopes to find the answers to what the world may find “frightening” and “unexplainable”. S.C.A.R.E investigate so the truth to the unusual can finally be found.

Oba Pichardo will be discussing the annual IFA forecast from MIAMI for 2013.

Samhain Celebration

Miss Paula and OroShango of KDCL Media and Dia Nunez of The H20 Network welcome Author Lanaia Lee and Writer/Actor Viktor Aurelius to the first show in our Samhain Celebration Tuesday at 8pm edt; 6pm mdt.

Lanaia Lee was born to a Navy father and a school teacher mother. With the death of her mother from a massive stroke a stroke when Lanaia was 9, and due to his military career, her father lost custody of Lanaia to her grandmother, a professed black witch, who abandoned her at 14.

Suffering from erratic hypertension, Lanaia suffered a stroke when at the age of 30. For the next 2 years, she underwent intensive physical therapy, but would never walk again. She found work at a vocational trade school to help with her rehab and there met her husband, David, who was also in a wheelchair from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

In 2001, David dared her to write a poem. Out of curiosity, she posted it on an online poetry forum. The feedback was so positive, she kept writing. She has published several novels and anthologies of short stories and poetry. All of her work is typed with one hand because of her disabilities.

Lanaia gives credit to God’s grace, which she believes has helped her overcome immense adversity, and she claims she won’t quit until she hits the bestseller list.

Viktor Aurelius, the 2000 Year Old Vampire who hosts Whispers in the Dark recites poetry, writes, directs and produces his own Audio Dramas. Most recently his 10-part series Lilith’s Children and voicing characters in many other productions kept him busy, but he is hard at work on several new productions that he and Jeff Niles will release very soon.
