WORKING WITH CRYSTALS AT THE LIMINAL POINT OF CONSCIOUSNESS

One of the many ways I’ve worked and experimented with crystals for years has been on the edge of sleep.

When I want to get deeper into a crystal, and experience its energetic effects on my body and psyche, I’ll hold it in my receptive (non-dominant) hand while I’m dozing off at night.

Most recently I did this with a Blue Tara, Japan Law Twin scalpel quartz (whoa!! pictured below), and the vibration was so incredibly fast and the frequency so high, that I swear you could see me from space! I felt bright all over, and so jazzed, that after about 10 minutes I had to put it aside because I knew I’d otherwise never fall sleep.

A Bardic Sigil Technique

I open up a sacred grove with intention.  After opening the grove, I sit for a few moments, breathing deeply and centering myself.  When ready, I pick up the chalk pastel and I allow the chalk pastel to move across the page, closing my eyes at points, emphasizing lines at points, and letting me be in the flow of the moment.  I keep refining the design, moving pieces of it to new areas of the paper.  I don’t focus too much, paying attention instead to my overall intention: a specific land healing sigil, a sigil that will link different sacred sites I’m working on and work with ley line energy on the landscape.
