Are You Grounded? A Clairvoyant Technique

Featured Image -- 3791I’m always amazed at the number of people that ‘work’ in the spiritual realm that have no idea about grounding themselves.

Being grounded is that feeling you get when you walk barefoot on dewy green grass, sensing the breeze tickle your skin and the deepness of your chest expanding with every inhale. It is the feeling common to children, one of connectedness to the awe and wonder of simply being.

In an age where we find ourselves buffering our true existence with technology, the consequences run deep. You could experience everything from chronic crankiness, mental fatigue, and poor memory to lacking inspiration for a project or motivation for mundane tasks.

Ok, great, but that does seem pretty general in nature. Right? I mean…

You’re right! We will be dedicating plenty of content on chakras, energy healing, grounding techniques, psychic development, being an empath and how to cope. For now, I want to enable you to have the ability to know when you’re grounded and, if you’re not, get reconnected. And that…

TECHNIQUES FOR WORKING WITH POWER ANIMALS

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarGood Witches Homestead

Throughout our lives, we may encounter animals of a special nature that bring to us certain gifts of the Spirit. These are power animals… and they visit us for the purpose of sharing knowledge, giving us necessary abilities, or teaching us wisdom that it is important for us to know. These may be called familiars by some (a common European term), allies (a more common North American Indian term), totems, guides, or power animals. Different cultures and different faiths have different views on exactly what constitutes a power animal. I won’t address those distinctions here. I’m not the end-all expert in every culture’s traditional correctness! But more importantly, there are certain features of power animals and how we can relate and work with them that are true and effective regardless of what they are called.

First and of greatest importance, always understand that power animal is gifts of the Spirit…

~LIFE PATHS~

ROLES OF THE ANIMAL TOTEMS

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”

~Chief Seattle~

EXPLANATION OF THE ANIMAL TOTEMS AND THEIR ROLES ALONG THE SACRED HOOP OF LIFE:

As the quote from Chief Seattle above so eloquently illustrates, we are all connected, not just to other “two-leggeds” and the family of man, but to the animals, the trees, the wind, the earth Herself. Like a beautiful blanket woven from many colors and textures of a thread, each individual energy contributes to this Blanket of Oneness, and all are bound together.

Our thoughts, actions, and deeds not only have an impact on our own life along the Red Road but like a pebble tossed into a pond, the ripples of our movement along…

Animal Spirit and Medicine: Animal Spirits

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarGood Witches Homestead

Animal Spirits work with us in many capacities and on a variety of levels. As Totems, they reflect aspects of our personalities teaching us to know ourselves better and understand our interrelationships. Power Animals are much the same; they are the dominant Totem and merge in a sacred spiritual manner with our inner spirit. Guides are not always animals but they can be; these creatures guide us through spiritual realms and to our teachers showing the way to enlightenment. Some Animal Spirits act as messengers coming once or twice in a lifetime while others are frequent visitors. All these capacities reflect their abilities to impart a wide variety of messages on many different levels. All Animal Spirits are our teachers in one way or another. They can act as protectors giving us warnings, or defending us in other ways. While they teach us about ourselves and our lives, their highest…

Astrorisa Moon ~ June New Moon

Cancer New Moon 2° in House 5
Sun in Cancer 2° in House 5
10:31 PM EDT

Themes:

Over worked, making important decisions, balancing our emotions, proper timing, spiritual insight, cooperation, fanaticism, intense dreams, the home (comfort zone), fear, insecurity, a need to pay attention to red flags, healing, pleasures of life, and spiritual assistance.

Welcome to the Cancer New Moon
Welcome to the Cancer New Moon, Osupa titun fun Yemoja!! And Happy Summer Solstice to Everyone!! We have arrived at the 2nd cardinal season of the year. with another stellium (4 or more planets) in the sign of Cancer. Time for our 2nd renewal, and rejuvenation program to begin, what shall that look like? Only we can determine that, but we have until autumn to make some important changes for ourselves, so let’s get busy with this new moon time.
Cancer, an archetype of Yemoja is that part of our soul make-up that looks to care for our home base, it determines our needs, and gives attention to those aspects of ourselves and our relationships which require healing, repairing, even transforming. Cancer 2° delves into the great mysteries of life, and will explore its relationship to others; defining their harmony and balance. It does this to determine that relationship’s realism or its falsehood. Cancer 2° and its entire 1st Decan, is not easily fooled, because it is developing a very strong BS radar as it moves through the remaining 8°. House 5, the house of family members, personal interests, and personal pleasures is the house this moon currently resides in.
House 5 (Leo ruled) is a fixed energy, and Cancer is a cardinal energy, we can better identify our problems and are more likely willing to fix them. Also, with the moon’s placement in house 5, our collective consciousness is imprinted with messages for us to ‘sit back’, ‘relax’, and ‘discover’ what brings us emotional satisfaction. Don’t be surprised if that is what you seek at this time, ’emotional satisfaction.’ This lunar position will also have us thinking of ways to express our creativity, and engage in self-actualization. Our family, especially young members are likely to get more of our attention, this attention getting also applies to our pets. We can find ourselves wanting to spend more time doting on them, and relishing in their expressions of happiness and joy. Many emotional changes come with this moon time, including our own acts of self-expression. If you are normally hesitant in expressing your feelings, this Cancer Sun/ Moon time will crack, or break that silent mold for you. You’ll likely find yourself speaking more assuredly, and communicating without hesitation what you think, want, like, and don’t like. Anticipate your children doing the same…because everyone is “Big Mama” during this new moon time.
Important Dates: July 2nd & July 7th

July 2nd:  Up to this point, those who have had misunderstandings and miscommunication or fall outs with others may find it difficult to resolve those issues now. July 2nd is a day which brings many forms of blockages to our progress, and these obstructions intensify. People trying to join together, trying to make deals, and connections, are heavily blocked. This day has a strong Ogun energy manifesting within it. The late hours of 10:50 pm – 1 am have a reckless Ogun vibration.
 This day isn’t an auspicious date for the beginning of marriages or contracts. Get a reading before making a commitment of any kind. This date also brings with it, secret meetings which can lead to unfavorable outcomes, and information or letters of concern can arrive. The (+) aspects of this day is that what is currently troublesome, has a strong probability for resolution in the days or weeks to come. But have a witness when discussing or agreeing to anything.

Cultivating the Flow of Awen in our Lives

Dana's avatarThe Druid's Garden

I shall sing of the awen, which

I shall obtain from the abyss

Through the awen, though it were mute

I know of its great impulses

I know when it minishes;

I know when it wells up;

I know when it flows;

I know when it overflows.

–Taliesin, “The Festival” from the Book of Taliesin, 13th century

What the poet Taliesin writes of is the “Awen”, a central principle in the druid tradition meaning “flowing inspiration” or “divine inspiration.”   In ancient times, bards embraced the flow of Awen to be masters of memory, sound, and expression. The bardic path was a lifelong pursuit and vocation; bards would spending many years (by one Scottish account, 7 years[1]) learning the bardic arts which included the arts of memory, diction, rhyming, and composition.

The flowing of Awen isn’t just an experience, it is a magical and meditative process. Perhaps you’ve…
