ObaIya CarmenSpiritual Mass

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 8pm est, Miss Paula of KDCL Media and Dia Nunez of The H20 Network presents a live Spiritual Reunion.

Encarnacion De La Caridad y Rodriguez was the daughter of the king of her tribe. She was captured at a very young age and sold into slavery to a Portuguese trader that owned cargo ships out of Cuba. Encarncion traveled extensively with her master and gave birth to several of his children. She was also a Priestess of Oshun.

Encarnacion invites you to a Spiritual Reunion as she speaks through an Espiritista with many years practice, Iyalosha Carmen P. Rodriquez.

As a child in the late 1930’s, Carmen P. Rodrigeuz trained at the traditional Spiritualist Temple operated by her father in Cuba, and continues her spiritualist work to this day. She is a Lukumi priestess of 42 years to the Orisha Yemaya, and a founding member of The Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.

Providing translation will be Oba Oriate Ernesto Pichardo, Lukumi Elder and president of The Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.

We ask when you join us tonight that you have a glass of water, a white candle, and a small bunch of white flowers. If you are a practicing espiritista, medium, or spiritualist be sure to prepare as you would for a Misa. Leave your lights on in your living space, and if you are prone to getting lost among the spirits, listen to the show with a friend to help keep you grounded.

Traditional songs and Kardecian prayers in Spanish and English will be used.

Call the names of your honored ancestors, and get ready for a wonderful Spiritual Reunion.

This program is rated SST for Super Spiritual Trip.
