Gemini New Moon 4° in House 8
Sun in Gemini 4° in House 8
3:44 PM EDT

Planetary Energies
Moon (Osupa / Yemoja),Sun (Orun / Orunmila, Olofi), Mercury (Esu-Elegbara), Mars (Ogun), Saturn (Obaluaiye), Uranus (Sango), Pluto (Oya), and Venus (Oshun).
Themes:
Duality, balance, conflict, reflection, development, effort, business growth, initiative, self control, delays, freedom from anxiety, a sense of purpose, and “knowing whether it’s black or red”.
Welcoming the New Moon (Osupa Titun) of Gemini, the archetype of both Ibeji and Esu. This forecasts runs from May 25th – June 22,2017.
This new moon brings with it expressions related to thought, mental clarity, confusion and discernment. We, for the next 28 days will focus much of our mental attention on forms of personal opportunities and the need to be sure of the best direction to take. It is through our ability to connect to our higher self that clear and sure answers come. This is the moon time to be aware and clear of what and who we are identifying and associating with. It is also a good idea to check one’s natal chart to determine where the signs Cancer, Gemini, Aries, and Aquarius are positioned, and what sign Mars resides in.
Some people will notice they and others are dialoguing a lot about what they want to receive, acquire, or achieve. We’re all thinking-thinking-and thinking some more, “is the glass 1/2 empty or 1/2 full”?
This overthinking or desire to have, can lead us towards impulsive decisions only if we’re not aware of what emotions / desires are triggering the thoughts in our heads.
This is also a moon time of “goading followers and unscrupulous leaders” those in positions of authority may set  false agendas, and each of us must decide if those set agendas  are relevant enough to accept and follow. Unfortunately, some people will be too enthralled to care about relevancy, thus becoming “blind followers.” This example is related to the Uranus expression, thus unexpected changes within our luck and opportunities will be happening. Uranus 26° in Aries in House 7.
The Yoruba say, the oldest Ibeji (twins) is kehinde (the 2nd born), and taiwo (the 1st born) comes to taste the world, then reports back to kehinde, Thus kehinde learns about the good and bitterness of aiye (world) from taiwo, and (kehinde) becomes wiser. We can use that analogy and apply it to the lunar messages for this moon time. We must turn back (inward) towards our higher self, which has learned all the mistakes and techniques which makes it the wiser. Through reconnecting to our higher self , our spiritual self, we also then become the wiser, knowing what “to taste” and if it’s safe to “enter the world.”
During This Moon Time
Gemini Moon / Sagittarius shadow side

Some people will notice a heightened awareness of reasoning happening for them, and others will become aware of the need to pay closer attention to their situation, though it may be challenging to do so. This moon time calls for a balancing between our emotions and our mental skills.
During this moon time creative mental exploration is in overdrive; there’s an enormous amount of Venus energy flowing. Yet this creative Venus/ Oshun is a bit afflicted being semi-square to both Moon and Sun. This means during this time Venus enhances the Uranus in Aries expression of “goading followers and unscrupulous leaders” because this Venus transit lessens some people’s will power.
For others this Venus transit causes internal creative conflicts, those who experience the scrutiny of others may give too much credence to their critics’ opinions, thus lessening their own value regarding their own work and ideas.
During this moon time some will travel more than they’ve previously done for the past 2 months. If we’re not mentally traveling, then there is physical traveling.
During this moon time, laziness can become an all-embracing issue. Due to mental and emotional exhaustion. Others at this time may choose to take a creative time out i.e secluding themselves to paint, draw, do yoga etc.
Others at this time may be drawn to water, having longer bath-shower time, going to the beach or lake, visiting water spas, receiving water massages etc. The mid-heaven (house 10) for this moon time is  14° Cancer, and we will be balancing the elemental energies of both water/ emotions (house 10) and air / mentality (Libra in house 1; sun-moon Gemini in house 8).
During this time some people will also fall in love with love, as they are connecting to another form of ”following” but again their connection is influenced by the position of Cancer. Then there are those who feel inspired to follow a new or once forgotten dream, connecting to the energies of ideas and idealism.
The Sagittarius shadow aspect of this moon time inspires us on some level to inquire or to be ready to discard something. To identify what possibly has left us feeling empty or unsatisfied about something. It compels us to either become courageous or to recognize a need to be mentally courageous and to go after what we want.
Important Dates:
June 3, 2017, Sun 13° Gemini / Moon 4° Libra, pushes our collective consciousness towards clearly understanding our moral positions and to hold firmly to it, though that stance will be challenged. This is a day when many people can lose their direction, their faith, and their moral compass breaks. This day is a day that points towards a “weakening of one’s own Spirit.” This is when the message of being swayed by others (those in authority) reaches its strongest influence. Here we must be careful not to aggressively say what is on our minds without careful deliberation. Rebellious acts aren’t favored, and there’s a strong indication of bad natured people coming into the picture.
June 12, 2017, Sun 21° Gemini, Moon 22° Capricorn, for many this is the date that will determine if what they’ve worked hard to achieve becomes their reality. It’s a date laden with fragility, the scale can tip in either direction, and how well we previously handled the strong Cancer 14° in house 10, the house of vocations, will show its results now. This day can also bring a confusing vibration with it, causing some to place their wants before theirs and other’s needs, thus be ready for someone to ”drop the ball.”
Maneuvering
through this Gemini Moon towards blessings (ire)
1. Eboleri, or rogations for clarity of thought and level-headedness.
2. Receive a personal reading.
3. Check in with the oracle before June 12th regarding any work you’d like to accomplish. Find out if anything, what can be done to maximize your success.
4. Good moon time to focus on resolving legal issues, and to attend to any outstanding legal matters, including completing paperwork.
5. Before striking out on a new path, determine if it is a relevant move.
6. Meditation can bring powerful visions and clarity now. Moon will be in Gemini May 25-26 and part of May 27th.
7. Be mindful what you are thinking and saying, we can manifest much by way of mental and audible energy (thoughts and words of power).
8. Bring emotions under control. Be careful of behaviors of reckless abandonment.
9. When satisfying the wishes of others do so from a position of stern authority aka don’t get suckered.
10. Avoid giving into emotional fear, avoid looking for comfort, and love in the wrong places.
11. Honor your skills, and follow your Ori.
Have a mentally clear, creative, and productive New Moon!

What Does A Broken Crystal Mean? – Holistic Experiment

Source: What Does A Broken Crystal Mean? – Holistic Experiment

It happens to every crystal lover; that gut wrenching feeling when you notice a crystal broke. Whether it’s just a small chip or split into a bunch of pieces, crystals experience shifts, transitions, and changes.

Crystals can be very fragile, especially if it’s a stone that can easily disintegrate in liquids like Selenite , Azurite or Desert Rose. Many crystals have natural flaws and fractures which can weaken the crystal. Crystals can break over a period of time from regular use and movement.

Sometimes a crystal can break because you dropped it, banged it or it wasn’t properly stored during traveling. If this happened to you, just make sure to be more careful with them. It’s said that if you often drop things or bump into things it could be a sign of being ungrounded so make sure to meditate with your crystal.

Another reason as to why a crystal could break is the constant exposure of heat and cold. This can cause a fracture so make sure to keep this in mind when you’re storing your crystals.

I think there is no such thing as coincidences, so whenever a crystal break it could be because it protected me from some harmful negative energy or helped me let go of a specific belief that no longer served me. There is no need to feel bad about this happening, just be grateful that it has helped you throughout your journey and honor your crystal.

There are other times when a crystal wishes to become more than one crystal. As long as the crystal isn’t shatter into a bunch of pieces you can find those part a new home. I sometimes like to store the pieces in bottles and keep them around in case someone I know needs them.

What To Do With Your Broken Crystals

The first thing I do when a crystal breaks is to cleanse it. I’ve talked about different methods of cleansing crystals but my favorite is to bury them for a little while until I feel it’s ready to take it out.

You can also bury them in your garden and never take it out because plants and trees LOVE crystals. Some people like to put them in pots or use them as drainage stones in the bottom of the plant pots.

Other people like to throw the broken pieces in the ocean because the saltwater can help cleanse the stone and can lead them to their next owner.

You can also use the broken crystal pieces as separate crystals like, say, for a crystal grid. If you feel like you should give it to a friend or family member. Always make sure to follow your intuition whenever a crystal breaks

Scorpio Full Moon 20° in House 1
Sun in Taurus 20° in House 7
5:42 PM EDT
Planetary Energies
Moon (Osupa / Yemoja),Sun (Orun / Orunmila, Olofi), Mercury (Esu-Elegbara), Mars (Ogun), Saturn (Obaluaiye), Pluto (Oya) and Venus (Oshun).
Themes: Perseverance, harmony, the law, medical attention, grief, happiness, return vs loss, finances, opportunity, caution, initiative vs lacking initiative, delays vs. movement, and confrontation vs. peace.
Welcome to the Sun in Taurus, archetype of Oshun and Full Moon in Scorpio, the archetype of Oya moon time.  Sun in Taurus, house 7 the house of friends, enemies, frienemies, close associates, contracts, the law, lovers, and personal experiences. Meets Moon in Scorpio, house 1 sharing space with Libra also in house 1. House 1, the house of determination, personal desires and interests, the physical body and its vitality, and personal enterprises. These houses and the messages of this moon forecast would remain active for the next 29 days: May 10th – June 8th

What a powerful moon time and its influence upon our collective consciousness. During these next 29 days, our collective consciousness will guide us towards expressing an overly abundance of giving or receiving of goodness from the heart as well as an overly abundance of taking or receiving heartache or loss, this of course depends on which side of the spectrum we fall…Moon in Scorpio, archetype of Oya settles in house 1, and aforementioned shares this house with AC Libra also archetype of Oshun. These two characters residing in house 1 strongly impacts one’s stubborn, determined nature, and influences one’s interests in creative and sexual pleasures. Some people may want to go out on the town and enjoy themselves a bit during this lunar season. Others may want to participate in other forms of creative enjoyment, but whatever we’re drawn to, the 1st house does indicate what comes to us, as well as what we are attracted to.
Have a successful, self promoting, self encouraging, safe and insightful full moon time!

Tower of Babel – secretsoftheserpent

Source: Tower of Babel – secretsoftheserpent

By gserpent

tower-of-babel-19-jun-091

To most researchers the Tower of Babel is used to explain how we as humans have so many languages. The demon like god of the patriarch religions did not like the human race trying to reach the heavens, so he got mad, threw a temper tantrum and made everyone speak in different languages. This way we could not understand each other and work together accomplish amazing feats.  No this god wanted us not to understand each other and fight for the rest of eternity. How does anyone believe this stuff? Now that we have the childish version out-of-the-way, let’s get on with the truth.

Most researchers think that babel comes from the hebrew ‘balal’ meaning to confuse or scatter. It is where we get english word babble. Theologians say babel comes from Babylon because that is where they think the tower was, in Babylon. Ralph Ellis has shown that babel comes from the Egyptian ‘berber’ and means pyramid. As a matter of fact he as actually shown that the real name of this Tower of Babel was Mount Shenar. Mount Shenar means snow mountain. The Great Pyramid had a limestone covering. It was pure white. They built it to look like a snow-covered mountain. The Tower of Babel was also called the watchtower. That is exactly what the Great Pyramid was, a watchtower to watch the heavens.

The Tower of Babel myth is the building of the Pyramids, but the scribes that wrote this were using ancient texts that were in their possession. They had to spin this story in their favor. If you have read my Lemurian Magic post, you know that the Pyramids were built after the cataclysm. Ancient Egypt had an Upper(matriarch) Egypt and Lower(patriarch) Egypt. Egypt was all about unifying Upper and Lower Egypt. The union of the two land was called Semai Taui or ‘tying the knot’. This is why getting married is referred to as tying the knot. If you wanted to help unite Egypt, you could stay. If not, get out. Every civilization around Egypt is Egyptian rejects. Sumer, Babylon, Judea, Greece, Rome, Arabia, and all the Mediterranean countries. None of these civilizations wanted to work together, so they left or were kicked out of Egypt. They started their own patriarch countries and languages. These countries hated Egypt for not giving them their way, but their ancestors had still helped build the Pyramids.

About the time the propaganda of the Torah or Old Testament was being written, high priests of Lower Egypt and surrounding countries that hated Upper Egypt decided the common man was not to be included in the secrets. The common man was stupid and vulgar to them. The common man had to be controlled. Several times they tried to regain Lower Egypt and instill monotheism for control of the common man, but were eventually kicked out. This just added to the hatred of Egypt and the common man. The ancient texts had to be written in a way that only certain people would understand them. The rest would take them literally and be controlled. Other scribes, like Manetho, caught on to what was happening and wrote their version of history to try to preserve the true history. But how many people have even heard of Manetho? Then you have the Nag Hammadi scrolls. The catholic church got their filthy hands on them, but good thing for us the church didn’t understand what the scribes were trying to tell.

The story of the Tower of Babel myth is the building of the Pyramids, but they had to spin the texts in their favor then destroy any evidence that said otherwise. Instead of the Pharaoh(god) kicking out all the people who didn’t want to unify and work together, they made him kick out the people who wanted to unify to make it look like he didn’t want them working together. They completely reversed history in their favor. Can’t make money off a god that wants to unite people. They used this same type method with the biblical family of Jesus. This was a matriarchal family, but they used them to create a patriarchal religion(see His Royal Jesus). The people who scattered to the outlining countries started their own languages, but this myth is code for the language of the ancient texts being used. It is code for when these scribes started confuse people with their writings. This showing that the truth had to be hidden, so that the common man could be controlled with whatever religion or government they invented. The language of these texts are impenetrable and they seem like nonsense to the common man. As truth starts to leak out I believe the bi-polar, demonic, patriarch gods will be on their way out. The so-called elites thought that their ancestors had destroyed all the evidence of the truth. They thought their texts were all that was left. If someone tried to translate them in a language the common man could read, they burnt them at the stake. What they didn’t bank on was the vulgar, common man being smart enough to dig the truth out of these stories. It is the common man that has begun to show the truth to the world.

The Great Pyramid had a walk way that ascended to the top. It was in the white limestone castings that the Lower Egyptians tore down. It was known as the Latter to Heaven or the Latter of Osiris. The Lower Egyptians decided that if they couldn’t have it, no one could have it. Then they made this Tower of Babel myth, so that anyone who knew the truth about the Great Pyramid would be punished by their demonic god. The Tower of Babel, Mount Shenar, Mount Sinai, and Mount Ararat are all the Great Pyramid.

Venus Я in Pisces squaring Saturn Я Apr.-Aug. 2017

XAPANA

Obaluaiye’s planet, Saturn will officially go retrograde April 6, 2017 at 27° in the sign of Sagittarius in house 1. Saturn will later station direct on August 25, 2017 at 21° Sagittarius.

Saturn is the “Lord of Karma” and Obaluaiye, offers the experience of ‘’ we reap what we sow.” The Ancestors/ Egungun identified the overall theme of 2017 as “The Year of the Reckoning.” This is telling, because it means that the dirty, dastardly, deeds which we’ve gotten away with for many years, catches up with us during the ‘Year of the Reckoning.’

The last decade Saturn went retrograde in Sagittarius was Thursday, March 7 1985, 08:04 AM ET; 1 month (+) 1 day (-), and 32 years ago.

Saturn retrograde governs our experiences surrounding maturity, health, self-discipline, responsibility, our fears, loneliness, and anxieties. Saturn retrograde creates a type ‘forced’ isolation. We are ‘forced’ to re-address aspects and elements about our core being which has been a hindrance to our development and growth. This is when we’re thrown into the ‘lion’s den’ so it may feel or seem. We are exposed to the elements of chaos, we face redemption, or ridicule. We come face to face with our own fears and realizations of internal truths, and then we work hard to climb out of the pit. Through the act of ‘climbing out’ of our pits, we develop the psychological and emotional muscle to endure, then to sprint, moving forward in a new direction

Currently Venus Я in Pisces squares Saturn Я. What we’ve previously enjoyed, felt comfortable doing, or admired either becomes exposed, becomes lost, or experiences a sour note. Whatever Venus ruled in our lives; if we were undisciplined in its specific area Saturn, will assist us to gain sight of it, and then judge it.

During this Venus Я in Pisces squaring Saturn Я transit

Be mindful if you feel depressed, or unworthy. These are suppressed emotions which require your attention, and or release.

Think back to 1985 through 1988 when Saturn was in Sagittarius.

What did you lose then gain?

What did you experience which offered a clear lesson?

Did you master the knowledge of that lesson or is it up for a repeat?

Slowing Down the Druid Way: Part III: Time-Honoring Strategies | The Druid’s Garden

This past week, a friend and I were discussing options for starting seeds for a new joint major gardening project (more on that in an upcoming post).  We talked about several options, and deciding we wanted to stay away from plastic ready-made planting pots, opted for a paper pot maker (a little wooden device that makes it stunningly easy to create paper pots from recycled newspaper). This choice, of course, is an excellent one from a permaculture perspective: it takes an extremely abundant waste product and turns it into a resource. Of course, in order to make these pots, you need the time to collect the paper and the time to create them. This simple choice–paper or plastic–along with the investment of time illustrates an underlying principle that seems to me to be near-universally true in my experience: the further away from fossil fuels we get, the more time things take. And here, of course, is the crux of this entire blog post series: if we want to do anything beyond our work (practicing permaculture, developing deep relationships with the land, developing bardic arts, or whatever it is we want to accomplish), we have to find the time to do so.

Starting seeds in recycled materials

In my previous two blog posts, I explored the nature of work both historically and in the present age, which helped illuminate some of the current unbalances we have with our work–and opened up the door for us to consider revisiting our relationship to it. And it is this spirit that today, I talk about re-negotiating and re-envisioning our relationship to work and hence, to our time. As I explored over the last two weeks, historical data suggests that we worked a lot less in ages past, which allowed for more leisure time, feasting, merriment, and the learning of crafts and skills. It also gave our ancestors the necessary time to live without fossil fuels–to do work slower, with more intention, and live at a different pace. In the present age, our time is owned by our employers and continued increases in productivity have occurred with increases in work hours, meaning that we are working more than ever before.  It seems that, in some cases, fossil fuels and the myth of progress is speeding us up so much–and most of sustainable living practices focus in the opposite direction. The tension between them is many things, but one of them is certainly time and different ways of working.

Solar Eclipse
Pisces New Moon 8° at 9:59 AM EST
in House 11
Pisces Sun 8°, in House 11

Planetary Energies
Moon (Osupa / Yemoja), Sun (Orun), Mercury (Esu-Elegbara), Mars (Ogun), Saturn (Obaluaiye), Uranus (Sango), Pluto (Oya), and Neptune (Olokun).
Pisces 8° the archetype of Olokun:
This degree encourages and supports one reaching their goals, dream, and desires. This is a quiet, reflective vibration, it is very spiritually keen, yet challenges us to complete the work of  those things we don’t necessarily care for. What one should be mindful of with this degree, is to avoid getting emotionally lost in our desires and our success. One must balance their heart and head.
The influence of this solar eclipse energy can last approximately 3 months or more.

New Moon Themes:

Security, New Experiences, Perseverance, Careful planning, Financial Gains and Desires, Unexpected Gains. Harmony, Family, Emotional and Spiritual development, Relationships, Contracts, Moderation, and Balance. Arguments, Disputes, Health, Illness, and Recovery.
New Moon in Pisces, an annular Solar Eclipse, brings many forms of changes and transformations. It heightens the feelings of determination in the areas of self care, self love, financial independence, and it brings an attention to detail regarding one’s health. A high octave Piscean moon, brings family and loved ones together. There’s a desire to connect and to serve, but service operates from the 11th house. And that service concentrates on the greater good of all who are involved. So when we are operating from a Piscean 8 degree in 11th house influenced emotion, we’re helping one individual clearly knowing that when they get stronger, then they are able to help others… The feminine energy of Olokun (Pisces) rules this moon time. It’s the Ancient Mother influence speaking to and through our collective consciousness, causing us to step back and to rethink how  we’ve been handling our lives, goals, and desires. We can more effectively intuit and sense what is better for us now. Some of us will be able to move out of our heads, to be less cerebral, and connect to the basic foundations of things. Becoming more grounded during this moon occurs because Neptune, Olokun’s planet is now in its pre-retrograde shadow time. So what was murky and eluded us, begins to get covered, 2 negatives creating  a positive.
Have a Universally Loved, and Self Honoring New Moon Time!

That Magical Tree {January 2017}

birch-beithe

Birch  –   Beith Ogham letter B … Ruler of the 1st Lunar Month 24th December – 20th January Powers:  Purification, A Guardian of New Beginnings, Bringer of Hope,

The Druid tree symbol for the Bards

– ‘The Goddess Tree’ – ‘The Lady of the Woods’,  the Birch tree, Betula Pendula is the bringer of promise, light, and new beginnings.

An elegant native of British woods, of all Northern European countries and of North America, the birch is tall, up to sixty or so meters in height, with a slender pale trunk. It grows in clearings, preferring sunlight, but is not fussy about soil and is very hardy although not especially long-lived.
The birch is known as a ‘Pioneer Tree’ – meaning that it can restart the colonization of woodlands after long-term natural disasters.

Its soft green deciduous leaves have serrated edges and are held on thin branches which move and bow in the breeze. Its striking white, peeling bark gives it a faery-like beauty in all its seasons.

As the sap rises in early March, it’s possible to cut the bark, tap the trees and use the sweet liquid collected neat and cold as a water, or as the basis for a birch wine or beer. (Find out how to tap for birch sap in the bushcraft video below).

In early spring the small male flowers develop into long catkins (pictured right) and the female flowers grow into tiny cones (pictured left).
