Plato’s Cave

I love the parable of Plato’s Cave. It shows just how long the controllers of this world have had a vice on our minds. Plato died in 348 BCE. If he was writing about it in his lifetime, it had to have been going on quite some time before that. He says that the people in this cave do not desire to leave their prison; for they know no better life. The people who are enlightened or have “woken up”, understand what this story is all about.

Plato begins by saying “Imagine a cave where people have been imprisoned since birth”. Right off the bat Plato is pointing to the human race. He says the prisoners are chained so they can only look forward. Here he is showing how from the time of birth we are told what to think and how to think. The chains are the chains on the mind. The people behind the prisoners put on a puppet show. This is a perfect analogy for what even goes on today. Television makes it so much easier for the leaders of this world to put their puppet show on. Make no mistake, that is exactly what it is, a puppet show for the masses. The prisoners naming the things before them is showing that this goes on in every culture. What one culture may call a game soccer, another culture will call it football. Plato says “The truth to the prisoners would be nothing more than the shadows of the puppets”. Just like today, the truth to people is only what they are told by our puppet show masters.

Bureau of Land Management planning for non-viable wild horse herds in Wyoming

When we were staying at Mt. Wilson Ranch in Nevada there was a news report that stated Bureau of Land Management spent 11 Billion taxpayer dollars putting approximately 1,000 mares on birth control. Seems for that much money they could come up with a better population control solution.

Be sure to read the BLM’s scoping notice HERE.
Notice that the numbers for all HMAs but one are far less than the 130-150BREEDING AGE ADULTS that Equine Geneticist Dr. Gus Cothran states is needed for a VIABLE HERD.  AND, as a special bonus to developers gobbling up the dirt cheap oil & gas leases on these HMAs, not only will the BLM leave horses at the low AML (a non-viable number) they also plan to give fertility control to the mares.  BLM continues to manage to extinction.

Astrological Musings & More

Journey to the Center of the Mind

Numerology & Astrology

The Universe does truly try, energetically, to give us every opportunity to change our lives for the better. Take what’s about to happen right now. First, on December 29th, there’s a New Moon – something that’s always great to help us with new beginnings. Following that is a New Year, which we all know is good for making a fresh start in any or all areas of our lives. This, however, isn’t just any New Year. It makes the end of a number “9” year and the beginning of a number “1” year.

If you’re new to my writings then let me state that numerology and astrology go hand-in-hand. One, almost always, proves out the other. There are certain vibrations that are very individual to each of us and then there are “universal” energies that can affect all of us or to which any of us can avail ourselves to…

Embracing the Darkness at the Winter Solstice

The Druid's Garden

The period of time around the winter solstice, when the light of the sun is weak and our days are so short, is a period of difficulty for many. Darkness is something that we fear in industrialized cultures; it is something that we work to drive away through our own inventions and ingenuity. We instinctively feel the need to light up our lives every waking moment–our houses at night become as bright as the sun, the various screens projecting intense light, keeping us up and wired late into the night. If a room’s lights aren’t bright enough, we call them “dim” and see this as a deficiency, working to make them brighter. Even as I’m walking down the streets of my town at night, motion sensor lights blind me as I walk past people’s houses on the sidewalk. Consciously, automatically, and unconsciously we are continually working to drive away the dark–and…
