Hello loves!

I hope, as you read this, that you are all safe and well.

Everything hit me like a wave at the end of last week. I felt devastated, afraid, heartbroken, uncertain. Cried my eyes out. Couldn’t work for couple of days. Just went into extreme self-care mode.

I let the feelings wash through me. I allowed myself to grieve. Then I turned to my crystals, my faith, family, and spiritual practice for support.

I’m sharing this because we ALL need love and support right now. We also all need to honor how we’re feeling.

I had one of those 3am moments of what I call “electric fear”. I woke up with that fear energy coursing through my body. I put my hands on my solar plexus to try and calm myself, and then I heard my guidance say:

“It’s ok to feel the fear. It’s ok to feel what you’re feeling. But remember that you can CHOOSE how to respond.”

In that moment, I felt love and courage flow through me.

The key is to not seek to suppress what we’re feeling. We’re feeling our feelings for a reason

It’s how we respond that will help determine how we all pull through this.

I’ve put together some simple crystal suggestions plus crystal healing tips to help provide some of that support you may be needing.

A BEDTIME CRYSTAL RITUAL FOR PEACE

It’s been my experience that sleep can be hard to come by in spring, anyway, due to the time change and cyclical shifting of the seasons.

I reckon it’s tough for even more people right now, with the fear and uncertainty many are experiencing.

And especially tough for empaths and sensitives, who feel it all.

It’s also hard for healers who feel the call to action but are required to stay at home. All that energy gets pent up and starts to feel like anxiety, which can make it hard to sleep.

The mind has trouble quieting. The adrenaline keeps pumping in reaction to the stress and fear. There’s that wired/tired feeling. And we take it all to bed with us.

Does this resonate for any of you?

This bedtime crystal ritual came to me today, and to be honest, I need it to – I find the only time I’m making for my own self-care right now is at the very start and very end of my days.

It’s just too busy in between.

But I need my rest. And we all need space for some peace and light to come in, creating moments of soul care and respite.

This ritual is simple, sweet, and loving.

According to the Ontario Native Literacy Project, the Ojibwe (or Anishinaabe) peoples called the full moon of March Ziissbaakdoke Giizas, or the Sugar Moon, as March is when the maple sap begins to run. The Cree called it the Mikisiwipisim, or the Eagle Moon.

The Haida of the Pacific Northwest calls the March full moon Xitgaás Kungáay, or “Noisy Goose Moon,” according to the Tlingit Moon and Tide Teaching Resource published by the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. A number of migratory species are endemic to the region.

We are just a week and a half away from the spring Solstice! Spring begins on the 19th of March this year (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere.)

This is the earliest first day of spring we have seen for 124 years!

Already, there are signs of spring! Greenery is popping up, plants are coming back to life and birds are beginning to chirp again. The ground is softening once again so that the planting season can begin!

This week, on the 10th of march, Mercury is going direct! This Mercury retrograde has caused a lot of past lessons to come back up. For many, there are coming around again so as to not be avoided again. These last few weeks might have been uncomfortable on many levels, but we are shedding old energies so that we can grow and rise into our most authentic selves!
