Energy Work: Calling Down Energy

Wolf Of Antimony Occultism

Calling down energy from above is a useful skill to learn in energy work, because it allows you to connect yourself to higher sources of energy, so that you will be able to use that energy source in your practice to charge constructs, and to empower yourself. This technique opens up connection with the higher planes of existences, your higher self, and to source allowing you to use that higher energy in your energy work. This practice is like a reverse form of grounding where instead of grounding to the Earth, and the physical plane, you connect yourself to your higher being, and higher spiritual planes. This process is primarily done for the bringing down of more energy when it is needed, and it is a simple technique that can be made more complicated as you figure out better ways of using it.

How to call down energy:

1) First you’re going to want to find a comfortable position, whether that be…

Energy Work: Energy Breathing

Wolf Of Antimony Occultism

Energy breathing is an energy working technique that is used to bring energy into your body, and expel negative energy from the inside. This breathing technique can also be used in order to focus your mind, while you go through the process of also allowing your energetic flow to be strengthened, and cleansed throughout your body.  This technique is very simple, and can be done anywhere at anytime and can be combined with the practices of centering, and grounding.

1) Begin this practice by sitting, standing or laying in a relaxing position, then proceed to close your eyes.

2) Visualize the energy flowing throughout the inside of your body as a blue mist.

3) Now begin deep breathing, Inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth. As you do this visualize breathing in more bright blue mist on your inhale, and on exhale blowing out black dark smoke. On inhale…

Energy Work: Grounding

Wolf Of Antimony Occultism

Grounding is a technique in which you connect yourself to the earth’s energy, so that you can become balanced, and refreshed, while also being grounded in this physical place. When you are grounded you are connected to the earth, and you can call upon its energies in order to charger being with energy to help you, and your craft. When you are connected to the earth it also allows you to get rid of your negative energy by allowing you to push it into the earth, so that it can be transmuted back into positive energy. This process does not hurt the earth, and is a very natural process. Grounding is usually done right after centering, and is done along with centering at the beginning of rituals, spells, and other techniques. Grounding is a very important, and fundamental part of magick, because of its ability to allow you to take…

Energy Work: Centering

Wolf Of Antimony Occultism

Centering is a skill that brings all of your energy to the center of your being. All this energy gathers in a place called the solar plexus energy center. Centering is a very important skill to learn, because it is one of the most fundamental skills. Centering has to be done before grounding, and these two skills are usually done before every type of spiritual practice, even if they are not referred to as such. Through centering we bring our energy, awareness, and, thoughts inward, so that we can align with ourselves. This brings on a state of peace, tranquility, and harmony within the practitioner, so that they can be locked in this moment, and focus upon their work, and not be distracted by the outside world. Centering also allows us to begin our trance like process allowing us to start easing into an altered state of consciousness. There are…

As Autumn Approaches…

As autumn approaches, it brings with it shorter days and cooler nights. This makes it the perfect time to experiment with warming essential oils, such as cinnamon, clove, ginger, cardamom, and black pepper.  One of my favorite combinations contains cassia (cinnamon), clove, and sweet orange essential oils.  It just smells like autumn to me!  You can diffuse this blend or add a few drops of each oil to an oil burner and let the scent fill your home. You can also mix these oils into a water-based spray.  When doing this, I like to add some Moss Agate chips or small tumbled stones to the bottle.  Moss Agate is a stone of rebirth and is great to use during seasonal changes.

Autumn also means the start of the school year for those with school-aged children, or for those who recently returned to school as students or teachers. This can usher…
