Crystal Healing 101 ~ Your Safety Matters

How safe is your spiritual, psychic, or crystal healing practice?

There’s nothing more exciting than answering your calling and pursuing your purpose.

Earning a living as a healer or psychic and running a spiritual business, though a lot of work, is so fulfilling, and it’s a dream come true for a lot of people who are seeking to find deeper meaning in their lives.

What can get missed, though, are safety concerns. We’re talking physical security, legal protection, energy protection, and crystal care (if you work with crystals).

The reality of the world we live in, is that while we are doing beautiful work and attracting wonderful clients to our services, there are still scammers, predators, sexual solicitors, and angry people out there, and it only takes one to do you a world of harm.

And as a healer, if you’re not honoring certain things like boundaries, laws, liabilities, and proper care of your crystals, you could potentially (and unintentionally!) harm a client.

This is the real-world side of being a healer, beyond the trainings, psychic development, and IG posts with sparkles and unicorns (I love sparkles and unicorns!).

Whether you’re looking to start a healing practice, or if you’re already full-throttle, my latest article on my blog “Crystal Healing 101: Safety Tips” is a must-read.

The moon is waning and maybe your own lucid dreaming practice is too.

I can help with that. Well, not so much with the moon, that’s a celestial body apparently beyond my powers of influence.

But if you are looking to go deeper into lucid dreaming, or if you have hit a wall trying to become more self-aware in your dreams, the answer is probably not a new miracle technique or sleep hack. Sorry/not sorry.

Successful lucid dreamers are those who learn how to leverage motivations into strong intentions, and then build what I call the “lucid sanctuary.” This is soulful mindset that doesn’t command the dream, but invites it forth.

Since 2015, I’ve been running seasonal online workshops that provide a supportive community so you can do just that: build your lucid sanctuary, learn how to put to use the most scientifically-validated techniques, and construct a strategy that not only invites lucid dreams but also impactful and transformative dreams.

It’s easy, it’s holistic, and most importantly, it really works. Once you learn this strategy, it grows with you, and you’ll be able to dip back in whenever you are ready for more.

Have You Seen These Amazing Wildflowers?

Greetings!

First, I want to say “thank you!” to everyone who pre-registered for the upcoming Wild Edible Plant & Mushroom Outing (featuring Sam Thayer!) on June 2nd.  The event filled to max capacity within 24 hours and registration is now closed.  Stay tuned for another exciting Learn Your Land event to be held in early July!

Second, let’s talk about flowers.

If you’re a wildflower enthusiast like me, perhaps you’ll agree that the spring ephemeral wildflower season is one of the best times of year to explore the woods.

What’s not to love about a hillside teeming with White Trillium?  Or a vernal pool speckled with Marsh Marigold? Or a floodplain loaded with Virginia Bluebells?

Personally, I can’t think of a spring ephemeral wildflower I don’t like.  No matter the color, no matter the size… each one is a superstar in its own special way.

Recently, I took to the woods in search of these fleeting flowers and tried my best to capture the magic on film.  The sky was sunny, the air was warm, and plenty of plants were blooming that afternoon.  Needless to say, the wildflowers definitely put on a good show.  Check it out!

Speaking of ephemeral organisms, morel mushrooms are making grand appearances all over the woods right now.  Depending on where you live, these choice edible fungi may currently be fruiting in your neck of the woods.  Check out this recent Instagram post to learn more about these elusive springtime fungi!

Scorpio New Moon Crystals: Get Your Spiritual Sexy On!

Magic alert!

We’re entering one of the most potent times of year, and we’ve got a deep, dark and delicious full moon ushering us in.

Tonight’s Scorpio full moon at 8:58pm ET initiates a phase of transformation, karmic healing, sexuality, and intense emotion.

And then on May 1st we have Beltane, blessed spring festival where fertility, sensuality and the magic of the earthly plane (and of nature spirits and the fae!), are celebrated with fires, feasting, and fun!

This is definitely a time of embodiment, feeling, pleasure, growth, and while it’s a sexy time. The healing we can experience comes from letting go of old, seductive patterns, people, and choices that no longer serves us.
