If you have emerged from the intensity of the energetics over the last month feeling as though you have been through the spin cycle in a washing machine, please know that you are not alone. In one form or another, this seems to be a common feeling for many people. Take a moment to reflect […]

CRYSTALS + WATER ELEMENT: HEALING & NURTURING
The realm of water is that of the emotions, the collective unconscious, receptivity, and intuition.
It is abundant and divine flow, and a place where secrets and other worlds lay hidden.
To the ancient Norse, water was a terrifying force that had to be met, appeased, challenged. To the Ancient Atlanteans, a tomb. It brings life but it can also take it away. It is a great cleanser and purifier, washing the world anew and baptizing new life and faith.
Water teaches us that there is an ebb and flow to all cycles in life, and to honor those cycles in our own lives. It is closely linked with our moon, as the moon moves the tides, and symbolically mirrors the mystical nature of water.
In my own life and work, I’ve found water to be a great emotional healer, nurturer, and cleanser, both it in its elemental form but also from the crystals that resonate with its energy. Anyone who’s ever gone to the beach, ocean, or river and found solace knows what I mean: there’s something very, very healing about water.
Water is something that those of us in “developed” countries often take for granted. The next time you wash your hands, bathe, or shower, consider taking a moment to greet the spirit of water, thank it, receive its healing and cleansing Grace.

CRYSTALS + FIRE ELEMENT MAGIC: PURIFICATION & TRANSFORMATION
The fire element represents pure, raw power.
There is nothing placid or calm about fire: It is creation and destruction, an energy that operates in extremes.
Anger and action. Passion and lust. The divine spark. The sun. A spiritual purifier and clearer of obstacles. That which transforms all things into something else.
Heat produced by fire has been the key component in alchemy since ancient times. In myth it was stolen by Prometheus from the Gods, and shared with humanity, bringing them out of the darkness of ignorance and suffering. It brings light into the dark, the terrors of the night, and banishes our fear.
As a fire dragon sign in the Chinese zodiac, and a Leo sun with an Aries moon, I know fire well. I sometimes joke that it’s only my Libra ascendant that keeps me from burning the world down (in my time I have had to work on that Highlander temper, lol)!
In my work and purpose, I see myself as a light that’s shining against the darkness. And I will hold.
A colleague once showed me, too, how to sever cords and attachments from the aura with a flame of a candle. And another one taught me how to clear the energy of a space with flame and burning salts (NOT for the faint of heart!).

Rituals A Full Blessing Moon Eclipse Ritual | Create Your Own Smudge wand
Happy Full Blessing Moon & Eclipse!
The Summer months are here and in full force over here in the Northern Hemisphere. This Full Moon in many ways, marks the last big planting time of the season. All that needed to sprout roots for the long months ahead is in the ground growing towards its full potential while we prepare and maintain for the coming harvest.
The Blessing Moon marks a time of both celebration and preparation!
Abundance can be found all around right now, and this Full Moon in Capricorn might have many of us wanting to play in the garden, placing our last minute plants into the Earth.
This current Lunar Eclipse holds potent energy for rebirth and transformation on many levels for us all…
It is very important to remember to cleanse and clear away any old or stagnant energy that might be blocking you from your growth! This might mean reorganizing or physically cleaning.
It’s also important for empaths and highly sensitive people to be clearing their energy and protecting their auras/shields right now!
Not only are we currently in the middle of the Eclipse season…but we are deep in the many big retrogrades of 2019.
Many of these planets will be retrograde for several months, so the lessons they offer might be a bit more subtle than Mercury’s and the current Full Moon’s.
A retrograde is when a planet appears to be moving backwards… It really isn’t, but the retrograde does cause US to slow way down ourselves… the energy causes us to reevaluate, rethink, and replan.
Eclipses, like the current Full Moon we are experiencing shake up the current energy so that what isn’t working in our lives can come to the surface to be dealt with and healed.
With all this going on, we are currently welcoming in big changes and deep transformation into our lives that will have lasting impact.

Web of Life Ritual for Interconnectivity and Awareness — The Druid’s Garden
Last week, we delved deeply into a critical aspect of land healing with two related concepts; thinking about the world in terms of (eco) systems and the interconnectivity of those ecosystems for all life. Last week was practical, full of discussions, definitions, and how you might design land regeneration projects with ecosystems and interconnectivity in […]

A LIGHT IN DARK PLACES: CRYSTAL HEALING + CLEANSING RITUAL FOR THE CAPRICORN LUNAR ECLIPSE
When I’m hurting, I often turn to the moon for solace. I stand under her brilliance at night and ask for nurturing, peace, healing, understanding.
The moon is many things: a guiding light in the night sky, a sorceress, a mystic, a keeper of wisdom.
She’s powerful, she moves the tides, and flowers bloom in the sway and cycle of her phases.
Studying the moon, following her phases and their effect on our lives, as well as rituals and devotions, has grown in popularity these past few years.
Is it the seeking of something more in our everyday lives? Or is the return to a primal, healing source that resonates very deeply to our DNA?
It’s very easy to imagine the first humans gazing upon the moon in wonder. She captures the imagination and ignites the intuition, the magic of our souls.
An eclipses, likely terrifying to them — an omen or portent of dark things or times to come…
I know these past few weeks have been hard for a lot of you.
There’s been a lot of loss, grief, shocking turn of events, stress, and emotional upheaval …
