Over the past ten years, the people of planet Earth have experienced a cataclysmic shift that has affected virtually every area of human life. Pluto (planet of deep transformational forces) changed signs in 2008, moving from expansive Sagittarius which embraced migration and “one world” culture as well as celebrity and theology into the contracting sign of Capricorn which insists on being practical and creating strong foundations that can’t be buffeted around by the whims of the world. Pluto then was drawn into a protracted conflict with Uranus, a planet of rebellion and revolution, in the individualistic sign of Aries and predictably, revolutions occurred around the world. The Arab Spring, the Trump revolution in the US, Brexit in the UK, revolutions in the UK, and a dismantling of governments in Africa and elsewhere (Pluto in Capricorn) by revolutionary forces (Uranus in Aries).

The Sagittarius New Moon Is Asking . . .

You probably know by now that the New Moon time is a time for planting new seeds for the future. However, each time a New Moon is in a specific sign, it gives us something else to consider. Also, sometimes a New Moon has company and this company creates a certain kind of mood.

So this New Moon and his 4 companions in the sign of Sagittarius are asking us to look at the year behind us and make a story out of what we created and what happened to us. Before we can use its energy to move forward, we need to look back and make sure that we understand the lessons and the gifts we have received this year.

If you are tempted to skip this step — please do not! With the current energy it is ***the most important thing*** you can do for yourself! Do that on the 17th or 18th of December. Use Turquoise (pictured above) to help you with this.

That way, when on the 19th the energy shifts in a big way, with Saturn’s move into Capricorn, followed closely by the Sun (20th), and then the Solstice (21st) — you’ll have an inspiration and motivation to make a solid plan for the future. Use Black Onyx and Garnet (pictured below) to help with this.

Because of this energy shift, this plan will have the potential to bring much greater stability to whatever seeds you plant than was possible in the last three years.

And finally, you will want to take action only when Mercury is well out of the retrograde period, so after Christmas would be a good time to start putting your plan into action.

Three Planets Will Slide Behind the Moon in an Occultation. Before the official new moon date 9/20. This isa rare event happening with this moon. Today 9/18 the Moon will block Mercury (Esu/Elegba/Ibeji), Mars (Ogun), and Venus (Oshun) and one of the brightest stars in the sky, Regulus, in the constellation Leo, a few hours after it passes Venus. Venus will ingress in the sign of Virgo 9/20 at the time of the Virgo New Moon.The last time the moon slid past three planets within 24 hours as it will this week was on March 5, 2008 (when it was Mercury, Venus and Neptune), and the next time will be in 7/24/2036, according to EarthSky. Mercury completes it’s post retrograde shadow period on 9/19. These events make this Virgo new moon one of the most powerful moon times in decades.
