Total Full Moon Eclipse – Super Blue Red Leo Moon
Wednesday, January 31 2018, 08:28 AM EDT

Welcome to this special moon time which last visited us 150 years ago. This is a blood red moon because it is the 3rd moon in the trilogy of full moons Dec.3rd, Jan.1st, and Jan. 31st . It is a blue moon because it is the 2nd full moon in the month of Jan. It is a Super moon because of its distance to earth, and it is a full moon eclipse.

Please DO NOT do a full moon fill em up during this moon time. Instead we’re given a special ceremony to do just for this moon time which is shared in this video.
Let’s get ready for this full moon season.

Six Stones for Aquarius

Using an ally, like a gemstone or crystal, is a good idea for this sign, as they are naturally empathetic to nature, and thrive best when in touch with their spirituality.

Aquarius does well with stones that are light blue in color, as they are the water bearer, but can also incorporate red and yellow.

Stones that offer emotional protection and grounding are beneficial, as water and air need stabilizing and warming.

Silver is a good metal for Aquarius, as it aids in blood detoxification and circulation while removing negative energies.

Garnet is a grounding and protective stone that brings fire, aids with melancholy and is a symbol of love and truth. It is a powerful balancer for air and the erratic influences of Uranus.

This intensely purifying (fire) stone is associated with the pomegranate, a symbol of the feminine, and was greatly valued by many ancient tribes in their search for awareness. Garnet is a medieval stone that is…

Astrology Stones for the Aquarius Woman

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarGood Witches Homestead

Aquarius is sometimes referred to as the alien sign of the zodiac and the Aquarius woman wears this label with pride. She is friendly and sociable yet somehow removed as if viewing the world from another realm. Her head is sometimes in the clouds, her inspiration stemming from beyond, she is often considered an enigma. She is a tempest of intellect, independence and innovation, and as a fixed air Sign, she doesn’t like to be told what to do. She follows her intuition as it shifts like the wind.

She is drawn to natural therapies, wind chimes and gemstones that reflect the cosmos. Aquarian astrology stones are imbued with meaning and form the perfect jewels in her otherworldly crown.

Audacious Aquarius Style

The Aquarius woman is the ultimate non-conformist. You will not find her shopping at the local mall; she will pair vintage with handmade and boutique pieces in a style…

Second New Moon of Winter 2018

January 2018 Capricorn New Moon

By Krista Mitchell

Crystal Support for the Capricorn 2018 New Moon

The new moon in Capricorn, sign of ambition, industry and goals, happens this Tuesday January 16th at 9:17pm ET.

What to be aware of for this new moon:

  • This new moon phase is being described as a “rollercoaster”. With six planets sitting in the sign and the building of eclipse season energy, the next few days could feel tumultuous and overwhelming, potentially giving rise to conflicts and endings in your relationships, friendships, careers, lifestyles, travel plans, and home life.
  • While this new moon comes at the start of the year, a time when you may feel the need to be proactive in planning and pursuing your goals for the year, the emphasis is on going within, taking care of yourself, and focusing on introspection, contemplation, and meditation until a couple of days after the new moon.
  • There may be a tendency to act impulsively, feel fatigued, irritable, and argumentative, so the more you can give yourself quiet time, self-care and nourishment, and solitude, the better.
  • Intuition, insight, and sensitivity will be heightened at this time, and steps taken in the next few days will initiate major shifts in your life that can have very happy and beneficial results IF you work at remaining grounded, rational, and balanced when making decisions.

Overall guidance for this new moon in Capricorn: take these next few days as an opportunity to find quiet time, amp up your self-care routine, connect with your inner wisdom, and invest in your soul journey, and all will work out for the best! 🙂

Cultivate Deep Respect for Mother Earth

The Wolf Moon also brings another interesting astrological movement— Uranus moves into Taurus. This pairing can mean a few things, but most expert astrologers conjecture that it means we will experience some extreme weather events in 2018 that will likely be sudden and unexpected. On a more energetic level, Uranus in Taurus also brings our connection to nature into awareness. Taurus has to do with agriculture, food distribution, and finances, so look for lots of innovation and growth in this space. On a more personal level, we may also experience a distorting of technology and ourselves. How have cell phones and addictive apps impacted human connection, mental health, and physical health? While you may already feel the effects of this in your life, this theme will be explored more in 2018. With it hopefully comes to a renaissance of getting dirty in nature and understanding how plants can heal the…

The Astrology of 2018

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarGood Witches Homestead

Over the past ten years, the people of planet Earth have experienced a cataclysmic shift that has affected virtually every area of human life.  Pluto (planet of deep transformational forces) changed signs in 2008, moving from expansive Sagittarius which embraced migration and “one world” culture as well as celebrity and theology into the contracting sign of Capricorn which insists on being practical and creating strong foundations that can’t be buffeted around by the whims of the world.  Pluto then was drawn into a protracted conflict with Uranus, a planet of rebellion and revolution, in the individualistic sign of Aries and predictably, revolutions occurred around the world.  The Arab Spring, the Trump revolution in the US, Brexit in the UK, revolutions in the UK, and a dismantling of governments in Africa and elsewhere (Pluto in Capricorn) by revolutionary forces (Uranus in Aries).

I believe that 2018 will be the year of…

The Sagittarius New Moon Is Asking . . .

By Brana Mijatovic, Ph.D.www.crystalcosmopolitan.com

. . . “What’s Your Story?”
You probably know by now that the New Moon time is a time for planting new seeds for the future. However, each time a New Moon is in a specific sign, it gives us something else to consider. Also, sometimes a New Moon has company and this company creates a certain kind of mood.
So this New Moon and his 4 companions in the sign of Sagittarius are asking us to look at the year behind us and make a story out of what we created and what happened to us. Before we can use its energy to move forward, we need to look back and make sure that we understand the lessons and the gifts we have received this year.
If you are tempted to skip this step — please do not! With the current energy it is ***the most important thing*** you can do for yourself! Do that on the 17th or 18th of December. Use Turquoise (pictured above) to help you with this.
That way, when on the 19th the energy shifts in a big way, with Saturn’s move into Capricorn, followed closely by the Sun (20th), and then the Solstice (21st) — you’ll have an inspiration and motivation to make a solid plan for the future. Use Black Onyx and Garnet (pictured below) to help with this.
Because of this energy shift, this plan will have the potential to bring much greater stability to whatever seeds you plant than was possible in the last three years.
And finally, you will want to take action only when Mercury is well out of the retrograde period, so after Christmas would be a good time to start putting your plan into action.
