Please Comment on BLM’s Plans to Destroy and Slaughter Three Herds of Wild Horses in the Wyoming Checkerboard
Straight from the Horse's Heart

by Carol Walker, Dir. of Field Documentation, Wild Horse Freedom Federation
It is a very familiar and unwelcome feeling that I have, writing about the BLM’s plans to roundup and remove over 55% of the wild horses in the Wyoming Checkerboard. It seems like just yesterday I was writing about this plan that affects wild horses on 2.4 million acres in Adobe Town, Salt Wells Creek and Great Divide Basin. The last roundup was in 2014 when 1263 wild horses were removed from their homes and lands. 14 died during the roundup and over 100 died in short term holding facilities in the four months following the roundup.
This time, however, the situation facing the wild horses in Adobe Town, Salt Wells Creek and Greek Divide Basin is much more dire. The consequences of being rounded up and removed from public lands could not be more serious because…

Lemurian Seed Crystals
PROPERTIES OF LEMURIAN SEED CRYSTALS
Lemurian Star Seed crystals are “master” crystals within the Crystal Kingdom. Within the planetary hologram, they are linked to all other crystals.
They transmit to these crystals the message of Oneness and Unity and Love that was the key energy of Lemuria.
This is their work, to reactivate within the planetary matrix this ancient memory of Oneness and Unity so that it may become the way of life on the New Earth.
These crystals are connected to inner earth, the earth’s surface, and the stars, and serve as links to these various magnetic fields. On the individual level, each seed crystal is energetically connected to all other seed crystals.
This connection is a living example of the message of the Lemurian seed crystals. They teach us how to be both individuals and integral parts of the cosmic design, that all beings are equal. They…

Did Utah Sheriff’s Personnel Harass Wild Horses?
Straight from the Horse's Heart
Source: Salt Lake Tribune story by Brian Maffly
“With our continued coverage and focus on upcoming Appropriation Committee votes that could spell death to wild horses and burros and put American Equines on European dinner plates we have, regrettably, let other news slip through our fingers. For this we apologize so today we would like to share with you a story that might just be another case of government officials behaving poorly, in a phrase we all know way too well, because “They Can”. Please continue to endeavor to get the Wild Horse & Burro White Paper in front of your legislators. For additional information please visit last weekend’s post on this important topic. Click (HERE) and keep the faith, my friends.” ~ R.T.

Egypt’s Peridot {August Alternate Birthstone}
Peridot History
Shimmering, pale green peridot–often called the evening emerald–is a gemstone commonly associated with spirituality and expression. The word “peridot” can be pronounced as “PAIR-uh-doe” or “PAIR-uh-dot.” While both pronunciations are found in the dictionary, the actual word of origin for peridot is from the French word peritôt, meaning unclear, because of the numerous inclusions and internal fractures often found within peridot gemstone beads. Chrysolite (an older German word) was also used to describe it before the word peridot was applied to all gem quality peridot stones.
Sometimes also referred to as olivine, it is only found in one color–green. This uncommon green color is best known simply as peridot green and it varies from olive to brownish green. This green was highly prized by ancient admirers because it was often thought to be emerald, which is one of the greatest compliments peridot could ever receive. It is…

August Birthstone: Sardonyx
Sardonyx History
Sardonyx can be traced back four thousand years to Ancient Egypt. For most of its history, this stone has been used to create cameos and intaglios. In Ancient Rome, women wore sardonyx necklaces with cameos of Venus in hopes of harnessing the power of the goddess of love. It was also common for soldiers to wear sardonyx rings and carvings containing images of Mars, the god of war, into battle as a means of protection. Sardonyx was also a popular stone for Roman seals and signet rings that were used to imprint wax emblems on official documents because hot wax doesn’t stick to this stone.Sardonyx is an agate whose banding is straight and parallel. Much like agate, it is dyed to enhance or change its colors. Dyeing agate was an art practiced by the Romans from early on, but it reached perfection in the 1820s in Oberstein, Germany…

Today’s installment showcases the fact the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) does not hold a monopoly on the abuse and mismanagement of our National Icons. Many thanks to the Heber Wild Horse advocate who forwarded this article to us for sharing. If any of our readers have similar stories that they would like to share, please feel free to forward to my attention and we will review for publication.
