The moon joins the sun in Libra on the 28th of September. We are officially in Libra season!

This new moon in Libra brings in a breath of fresh air and a sense of harmony to our relationships while offering us opportunity to reconnect in new ways.

This month holds a lot of other aspects that will cause some transformation within yourself and your personal relationships that can last into 2020.

This is a very important month for making progress and transformation in 2020. Luckily, Saturn the planet of Karma and lessons went direct last week, which is helping us see our path with a bit more clarity.

This New Moon in Virgo brings us a fresh burst of energy to help us make clear cur decisions so we can achieve our goals and step into our full potential.

Since April we have endured retrogrades and eclipses that have brought up past wounds, lessons on forgiveness and reasons for us to let go and finally heal. It feels like we have been torn down, rebuilt and torn down again.

This New Moon in Virgo will help give us the needed push or missing piece to finally pull everything together in a lasting way.

We had a series of Eclipses, and Jupiter, Pluto, Neptune, Mercury, Chiron, Saturn and now even Uranus retrogrades affecting us this year. Like a caterpillar before it enters it’s cocoon, we must shed and shed and shed again. A caterpillar doesn’t just shed it’s skin once before it becomes a butterfly… It spends most of its time shedding and rejuvenating itself.

All of this non stop astrological energy has tried to help us shed our old ways so that we too can step into a better future and a new us. It is safe to say, we have had a roller coaster of a year, but there has been purpose to the lessons.

This New Moon is welcoming in the Virgo season. Virgo seasons is about reassessing our lives, taking charge, and making the changes needed so that we can move where we want to go.

This New Moon joins the sun in Virgo on the 30th of August.

Virgo energy is one of organization, attention to detail, new beginnings and making room for a fresh start. If you have a lot of Virgo in your chart, you might be one to collect stationary or hoard notebooks.

Virgo loves to see an organized plan with all the little details mapped out. This is a great time to get serious about your intentions for the moonth ahead!

One of the things I’ve had to really look at this summer is how often I fall in to “DOING”.

The “to-do’s” that kept me going from morning until night.

The daily tasks to run my programs and my business.

The laundry and the groceries and the washing up.

Even in downtime I had to be doing. I needed to be reading that book, playing with Gaby, deadheading the petunias.

I forget that I’m not alone when I’m in DOING. And that’s when things start to feel (and often become) more of an uphill battle: where I’m working harder than I should, and I’m losing my sense of purpose and direction.
And things start to not work out or not feel right.

I’ve had to unhook from DOING because it’s the the quiet moments, the still moments, of receptivity when I can hear my guidance and allow the Divine to flow through.

It’s after those moments that things get easier. The guidance or inspiration drops in. My intuition sharpens. Synchronicity happens. And the Muses speak to me in their melodious tones.

And all of a sudden, things shift: I’m inspired. I’m guided. I’m moving forward again in a way that feels joyful and right. And things happen!

New Black Moon in Leo Moonthly Energy Reading | Corn Moon

This New Moon in Leo is also a Black SuperMoon!

A black moon is similar to a blue moon… and like the blue moon, the definitions can get a little confusing. A black moon is typically seen as the fourth new moon in a season, (normally there are three) or when there are two new moons in one month, like what is happening this month!

This New Moon is also a Super Moon! This means that the moon is closer to the Earth than normal and the lunar effects on the water, tides and our emotions are amplified. Just because we can’t see her, doesn’t mean we won’t be feeling the effects of the supermoon.

Depending on your location and timezone, this New Moon could fall on August 1st for you, but it still holds the same energy of a Black New Moon, so don’t feel like you missed it.

Two New Moons in one month happens roughly every 3 years or so. They help us shift and breath through barriers that were holding us back. They offer us ability to use our new perspective to move forward. Almost like acting as a second chance for us to get up and claim our new path after such an intense month…

We will all be feeling a breath of fresh air after this New Moon!

This New Moon marks the end of the Summer Eclipse season, helping us to integrate the major karmic lessons of the month prior. This last month presented us with many opportunities to find lessons through the chaos, but thankfully much of that intense energy will settle as Mercury goes direct shortly after the New Moon.

We are also celebrating the Sabbat of Lammas around this time! This is the celebration of the first harvest and marks the another turn in the Wheel of the year.

In the second half of this month, Mars, Venus, the Sun and Mercury all enter Virgo. This will help us see things a bit more clearly in many areas of our lives.The shifts this month will help clear up some of that chaotic and dark energy that was stirred up in July. We will be able to move forward and claim our true power with clear intent.

In many ways, this New Moon will be helpling the dust settle around us so that we can step forward and fully integrate the lessons that came up during this Eclipse season. The cycle ahead looks to be a bit smoother than last months, but still holds potential to deliver the unexpected! Stop & Smell the Flowers | New Moon in Taurus Moonthly Energy Report

The month of May began with the celebration of Beltane with the New Moon following close behind. This New Moon in Taurus is all about cultivating and seeing tangible growth from your past efforts. This New Moon holds potential for progress and growth that you can actually see and enjoy with all of your senses, not just the physical!

In fact, this entire month ahead holds so much opportunity for both productivity and celebration! We have the ability to see our progress and growth as well as take the time to revel in it.

As the New Moon waxes towards full, our own energy grows and amplifies as well. We are able to focus on our goals and bring our dreams into the physical realm. This month ahead also holds a Blue Moon; a unique opportunity for renewal and growth. Soon after, the moon wanes back to last quarter and then back into the shadows once again turning towards new.

The moon controls the tides and water on this planet… being made mostly of water ourselves, the moon phases hold significant power over our moods and emotions. She represents the goddess and her ever changing and fluid nature.
