Alchemy is yet another tradition that has been taken literally. Most think Alchemy is turning lead into gold. They actually think that certain alchemist turned lead into gold and became rich. Alchemy is a philosophical tradition. It used to be very close to magic. Witches and Wizards are known for mixing chemicals and ingredients to make things like medicines, potions, poisons and antidotes. Alchemy is where we get the word chemistry.

Is it possible that…how can I put this…is it possible that because you know where you are, you believe that every idea that comes to you comes from SOMEWHERE?  Do you get this?  Your Honor, what I’m arguing here is that my client, John Doe, has been receiving ideas from NOWHERE.  He has stated this in no uncertain terms.  This is his position.  The essay he wrote, which has now been censored by the Facebook-Google government, should be reinstated.  The prosecution has called the essay “corrosive and disturbing to the official order.”  Why?  What is wrong with NOWHERE? …

“Solutions to private problems and public problems require the ability to think things through, logically, and to reject what is unworkable or biased—but above and beyond that, a person needs to be able to imagine solutions that haven’t been tried before.
